Artist Biography
California artist David Ruddell uses the boat symbol as a metaphor
for
the journey of life. In this new body of work he is enjoying and has refined
his use of materials, including wood, ultracal, muslin, shellac,
and paint. The sculptures have a spiritual content that can be
interpreted in many ways.
