Artist Biography

In the ACCESS Program, Ehren Tool's ceramic work explores the uneasy collision and collusion between military and civilian cultures, from war toys designed for a six year old to pornography that uses the vestments of war as props.  Ehren Tool was a marine in the 1991 Persian Gulf War.  He received his Masters of Fine Art from the University of California, Berkeley in 2005. Tool Biography

The ACCESS Program was initiated in 1988 in an effort to continue to support and encourage artists who, while working at a high level, have yet to affiliate with a gallery in San Francisco. The ACCESS program continues to be an exciting venue for artists and collectors alike
